well it would be tough to replace sigourney weaver but with the likes of stallone and harrison ford coming back to reprise their action roles who's to say she couldn't do the same but if i had to do a total recast i would choose:
ripley - jeri ryan (seven of nine from star trek)[changed my mind on my original choice of kristanna loken as not seen her actually act in dramatic role]
hicks - eric bana
bishop - jonathon rhys meyers
burke - greg kinnaer
hudson - matt damon
vasquez - eva mendes
(rest of cast i would bring new relative unknowns in as i prefer not to have all famous names).
newt - my niece (well i dont know any actresses that young so as casting agent i will employ a little nepotism haha)
how could you replace sigourney she was wicked in those films. mind you i got to the point where i was sick of seeing her in her underwear.!!
