What's your favorite movie directed by Tim Burton?!
Question: and if you've seen both "the nightmare before christmas" and "The corpse bride" which one do you like better? and why?
i like "the corpse bride" better :) and i just can't understand why "the nightmare before christmas" is so much more popular than it. the animation in "TCB" was done really well, better than TNMBC....well at least that's what i think so. and the story plot isk much more interesting.

So many of Tim's films are great, but for me, I have to go with Sweeney Todd. Although Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice and Ed Wood are all amazing works.

I'm with you, the Corpse Bride is better. I like the story more than Nightmare. The other one is more popular probably because it is watched more by young children - I know my son prefers it over the Corpse Bride movie.

I prefer the courpse bride just because i like the story but i do like the imagery in TNBC Batman has to be my favourite just because its batman but i also love Edward Scissor hands

Best is Edward Scissorhands.
Nightmare Before Christmas is more popular b/c it's been out longer and b/c by the time Corpse Bride came out, the animation style was old news. When Nightmare came out, it was still a new style. Plus the songs are more catchy in Nightmare and the storyline makes it perfect to watch at both Christmas and Halloween whereas Corpse Bride doesn't have that particular appeal.
Edward Scissorhands. I think I liked the The Nightmare Before Christmas better because he just wants everyone to love him like they love santa
