Answers: I love the classy ladies and leading guys and oh.....a good love story, action or western without all the skin and foolishness.

You know, the stories were so good. The movies didn't need sex/drugs/murder, stuff like that, to really tell a good or moving story. I just love the old stuff, I really do!!! Great question!

I like how they dont edit the movies and there are no commercials during the films. tehy show them the way they were meant to be seen

The old movies had people that had to know how to act to survive. Oh, and NO COMMERCIALS!

No commercials....a variety of movies that you don't see on other channels...great commentary and movie history...The best classic movies of all times from Hollywood's greatest stars/directors/producers...
and.... I'm a sucker for old black and white movies from the 1930's, 1940's...

i love that everyone seemed to have so much talent back then. And how everything was classy, and reserved.

Plus the lack of commercials.

i like that Bonnie and Clyde was on earlier

I love TMC. I like the fact that they show a wide array of films. All of the films are shown uncut and unedited, just as someone else mentioned, the way they were meant to be seen. Plus Bob Dorian the host is very knowledgeable about all the films and sometimes he has some very interesting stories to tell about the movies. It is the only classic cable network around that is still very credible.

American Movie Classics (AMC) used to be good but they now have a much smaller library to choose from. They tend to show more contemporary and sometimes inferior films. Plus they are edited and have commericials.

What's not to like? They show just about everything possible, including movies you can't get on DVD. Silent and foreign films... great documentaries. Even Roger Corman and Russ Meyer have had their movies shown on there. All the major studios (even Disney shows cartoons now and then) show films on there.

Osborne's intros are worth watching because he goes into what makes the film a classic and to keep an eye out for certain things in the film, and almost always comes back on at the end of the film.

They also feature a lot of movies thought lost and usually debut the restored versions of movies.

Just remember that at night they do show uncut R-rated films.
