Saw 4 the film?!

I found that the first 3 all tied in really well together, where as number 4 (although still living up to the gore front and not failing on that part) just didnt really go together quite so well. It was like it was just thrown together because they didnt really have any other ideas, and the ending really confused me.
What they should have done (if you have watched number 3) is continued the story from the end of that. Because at the end of number 3 he kills Jigsaw, and then finds out that his daughter is hidden somewhere and he has to find her - they really should have followed this line of the story.
Anyway...... Good films!
Yes I did!! I loved 1,2, and 3 but found 4 really hard to follow. In fact, I'm still a bit confused!
oddly we watched it for the first time last nite too it was wicked i was left confused but my husband said he got it. i want to know how that cop got involved with saw in the first place and why you didnt see that . plus wheres that guys daughter?
Yeah, gotta admit I found it confussing at first too......then it hit me the way it tied in with three, it was literally happening just after the third movie ended.
I still want to know what happened to that poor little girl you see at the end of three......they never really did anything with that storyline to tie it up.
They all were really good movies, but I still think the first one was the best. What a twisted mind the writer has!!!!
lol, yeah.....like...why the hell was THAT random *** guy the killer? It made no sense. I'm pissed, and Saw 5 and 6 are being made...gosh!
well once you get right to the end of saw 4 it all becomes pretty clear, obviously there are questions because thats what the series is about but basically the events of saw 3 and 4 run concurrently with each other: both movies were happening at the same time. as for jeff's daughter theres no reason why that cant be explored in the next one as hoffman is the one who knows where she is. his relationship with jigsaw will be revealed at some point and iv heard that the fate of dr. gordon will also be revealed.
the only thing that has really confused me about it is why there has been no more mention of the jigsaw piece that gets cut from the victims skin, this doesnt seem to have featured since the first film.
