Technical name for scene transition?!
Question: Does anyone know what the technical name for a shot transition in a movie or television show where one scene fades out and the next scene fades into it? Not where it fades to black but the the next scene comes right through the current scene. I took a film class and I know there is a technical name I just cant remember. I need to use it in a paper for my television class. Thanks!!
