What was the overall point or message in the movie There Will Be Blood?!
Question: I would say, greed and capitalism and all the money in the world can never make you "whole". It seemed like Daniel was always longing for something (other then oil & money) but it always seemed to disappoint him (taking in his "brother" and then finding out he was being lied to) His son wanting to start his own life. I was very sympathetic to his character, although he was selfish and stubborn, you could tell in the end he really did love his son.
I could be wrong, but thats what I got from it.
