For some reason, it just didn't appeal to me. I thought the Sabertooth looked a little too fake. Not to hate on the actress, but Camilla Belle for the role did not look the part at all based off the previews. It just looked like that gave her a giant wig to put on and that was it. Then again I haven't seen it so maybe she looks okay in other parts of the movie (probably not though). Also, the plotline of the story was unknown based off the previews. It was just a bunch of random events happening. At least the preview that I saw. I think a person should see a movie if they want to, don't listen anyone, including me. However rottentomatoes as of now gave it a 7 out of a 100%. Again, don't let it stop you from seeing it. People have their own taste. It made more money than people were predicting, if that tells you anything (about 36 mil domestically). -A.K.
I definitely want to see "10,000 B.C.". It's directed by Roland Emmerich, who also directed "The Day After Tomorrow" and "Independence Day". Those were great movies; loved them, actually. So I wanna see this one, as well.
It was a good movie.....it's not action packed, but it is a good movie. It one of those cross-continent, quest type of movies, so it does have some slow sections, and could have had more action to it, but overall I thought it was a good movie. Historically it was actually accurate for the animals (wooly mammoths and sabre-tooths, which I felt there could have been more of) with the time frame, but it did introduce some elements that were ahead of its time, but it could be written off as the "mysterious gods" teaching the people.....if you don't go looking to rip it up you should enjoy it.
