If you are in to that type of movie, yeah it's a good flick.

it is consider one of the classics.
it is a good film because eveyone has an opinion about it. some love it and other hate everything except for the 'directors cut'
imdb considers it as one of the all time greats ranked number 100 in all movies.
it was released in 1982 and was directed by ridley scott.
personally, i like it and will wait until bluray releases it to buy it. i've held off purchasing some films for 10 years and this is one of them.
Blade runner is a fantastic sci-fi movie, and based on the Book by Philip K Dick (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep).
The music by Vangelis is also fantastic, and the CGI work was truly groundbreaking at the time.
Well worth watching if not adding to your movie collection.

Synopsis: Los Angeles, 2019: Rick Deckard of the LAPD's Blade Runner unit prowls the steel & micro-chip jungle of the 21st century for assumed humanoids known as 'replicants'. Replicants were declared illegal after a bloody mutiny on an Off-World Colony, and are to be terminated upon detection. Man's obsession with creating a being equal to himself has back-fired.
