I don't think so. One of the opening scenes in violent enough, i.e., a sheriff's deputy is being strangled from behind while he struggles in vain against his attacker. Then an innocent man is shown being killed by a gun used to kill cattle. Shortly thereafter, multiple dead and bloody bodies are seen in and next to abandoned vehicles in the desert. The violent scenes continue throughout the movie. Too, the movie's ending sends a wrong message, especially to impressionable kids, about committing a crime and lack of punishment for that crime.
I wouldn't think so...I don't think I'd expose a young mind to a character like the "villian" in this particular movie, given the plot and the action...I usually let my kinds see anything but at age 10 I would hold off on letting them see this one...
I don't think so. It's not violent in the way an action movie is violent like a Die Hard type movie or something. The violence is realistic and can be disturbing. I say no.
I hate giving people advice about their kids because I don't really feel like its my place - but I think I overlook that for now. I really don't think its something that he should see.
