ETA: Oh man, I don't even know who could do it. He's such an eccentric character and the visual I have in my head doesn't match any actor I know, haha. I'd rather they never make a movie and allow readers to keep their own image of the character. :-)

I love that book series! I would go with say Johnny Depp.
