...I suppose that the distributors, who represent this film, made as many DVDs as what they suspected that the demand would be, for this particular movie, and I would imagine that they'll keep making them, based on the continued demand...
...as a result, it's quite hard to say how many DVDs that they've made of "Storm of the Century", so far; I'd have to go out and knock on quite a few doors, to find that one out...

It is a single DVD, but it is two sided. The fist two hours are on the first side, the second two are on the other side, then all of the special features are distributed between the two.
