Special Effects?!

Question: I'm making a horror movie and for the trailer, I want a far shot from the school(location) and I want the school to kind of make a creepy face. If you've seen "The Haunting Teaser Trailer", you'll know what I'm talking about. Please help!

That's a difficult effect to get right. The easiest way to do it is with displacement mapping. Shoot a high contrast scene of someone making the face you want and turn it into black and white. You can use the luminance values of each pixel to displace each corresponding pixel in your house shot. After Effects will do this. Think of it like overlaying the face footage on the house, except change the blend mode to displacement (it's in one of the pulldown menus.). You'll find it helps to play with the levels on the displacement layer, and blurring can also help.
