Mine is 'The Lost Boys' - it's a good combination of comedy and vampires. I thought that Barnard Hughes was really good as the grandfather in that film.

John Carpenter's The Thing, is my all time favorite horror film, but Return Of The Living Dead and From Beyond also rank near the top of the list.
