Answers: What are your top three favorite Spielberg films and why? Also if you have a least favorite, please explain why as well.

1.) ET - two words: "penis breath"
2.) Hook - great spin on a childhood classic
3.) Schindler's List - good films are the ones that make you dwell on the story....like this one

if i picked the least i would say AI because that movie freaking sucked

Raiders of the Lost Ark -- saw it in the theater when I was 7 years old, it was amazing, exciting and very cool and I love it to this day
Schindler's List -- one of the most important films ever made, a haunting tribute to those who died in the Holocaust
Saving Private Ryan -- a brutal, visceral look at war, you feel like you're right there in the thick of it with the soldiers, very powerful look at the sacrifices made in war

Schindler's List - it's so moving and it's base off true events. Plus Ralph Fiennes nails his part. You don't think you are looking at a movie, you think you are watching a documentary. There's a great moment where he just colorized one little girl as Goeth is liquidating (killing) the residents of the Polish Ghetto. And Schindler's speech was a great one at the end. I also like how at the end of the movie, they had the real people and the actors who played them all lay a stone at Oscar Schindler's grave. John Williams has never been better with the score for the movie and Itzhak Pealman's violin is still bone chillingly moving.

Saving Private Ryan - Hands down the best battle scene ever film or could possible be filmed. That beach landing at Normandy looks so real that many WW2 vets gave it their seal of approval.

ET. - This is the feel good family movie of the last few decades and it was a great film to watch when I was younger and now that I am older. I love watching this one with my nieces and nephews. Who don't want to fly on a bike over town. I took the ET experience at universal and it was just as cool as the movie.

My least favorite 1941. I know a lot of people really like this one, but after viewing it years later, its just too all over the place and there are too many performances that are just trying too hard to be funny. I hate that stupid doll. Treat Williams and the main actor are good. John Belushi is way too over the top. The movie, overall, just lacked focus. Spielberg doesn't do strictly comedy well. He is better just having comedic moments in his other picture (Raiders, ET, Jaws, etc).
