many of the saying that wonka says are from the book or they are 'altered' versions of famous quotes and saying with a semi -deranged/ wonka twist to them.
Well, it's based on the book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, so it might be from that. I haven't read the book or watched the movie in a while, so I'm not sure.
I thought that this movie was a book first. I could be mistaken, so check google and see if a book exist for this movie.
The film was a book called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory first. Most of the dialogue is either a direct quote from the book or very very similar. The newer film is actually more faithful to the book, but the older film is much better.
