Well i like most of her films she's is funny, and a serious actress and she has a very power full voice has well. Beaches was one of her best performances, but all of her films have been good.
'Beaches', I sobbed my heart out.
The ROSE was her best movie even.

Definitely beaches...with Diane Keaton....Most of Bette's best hits are in there...is very humanising and humbling story..be warned...a box of tissues is a must !!.....................

Beaches; because of the song Wind beneath my Wings. For me no-one else can sing that song as good as her. She's fabulous.
I would have to say(although I love her performances in general)that"Gypsy" really did it for me. "The Rose"(for which she won a Golden Globe&wasOcsar nominated)was a shattering,almost frightening performance in it;s intensity. But "Gypsy" really had her at her best,rivalling even the great Ethel merman and Angela Landsbury in the role of Momma Rose.
I thought that 'Outrageous Fortune' was hilarious with Shelley Long. She was also really funny in 'Big Business' with Lily Tomlin.
For drama, I'd say 'The Rose'.
