no u probably bought a special edition movie or the company/movie itself did it as a promotional gift thing i got that with my harry potter movie i just bought but that was reg. dvd but also special edition

this is a new technology they introduced with Live Free Or Die Hard
people want to be able to put movies on Ipods and such
and sometimes people have problems geting it done
so they introduced a Digital copy with a lot of new movies.
i dont know about Blue Ray but on the dvd's some movie so far have it.
