I saw it a few weeks ago and it is great!
You have to know what to expect first though - so it is going to be violent, particularly the first 15 minutes, but there is death the whole way through. You also have to be aware that it is a Coen brothers movie (Fargo, Big Lebowski, The man who Wasnt there, etc.) and it has many classic Coen moments. But it also is very different from any other of their movies, the soundtrack for one, the long silences, lots of other things that I can't really give away.
The performances are all amazing - particularly Javier Bardem and Tommy Lee Jones. The script is so tight and overall it really did deserve Best Picture, Best Director and every other Oscar it picked up. It is very good, atmospheric, brooding and thoughtful. I think it is well worth seeing!
well,typical coen movie i′d say...javier bardem was great,by all means extraordinary movie but i failed to identify with the main character so much with the other ones...anyway-not oscar worthy
