Do you like the movie Grease or you do you dislike it?!
Question: I really dislike it. The story is dry and too thin, not much action,poor acting, mediocre songs, boring outline.

like you i didnt like it walked out of movie after about 10 minutes of it very boring, i love the music from it though
and yes ive watched the Sound of Music a few times love Julie Andrews its a shame she cannot sing any more since she had op on her throat for nodules
And you cant beat the Wizard of Oz one of the greats of movies

It was a little cheesy but it used to be my fav. I can't believe I actually used to like it.
I'm not really a big fan of Grease either. I agree with you there. My favorite musical is Rent by far. =)
I like it ...to a point... but not as much as I used to. It IS a little bit corny.
I love it! But then i suppose you have to have been of a certain age (I was 8 when it came out so it was like high school musical). Everyone adored John Travolta and wanted to be Olivia Newton John. You aren't meant to take it too seriously! Just enjoy the nostalgia and the music!
I used to love it til it dawned on me that sandy totaly blew the old addage of "don't go changing who you are just to get someone to like you...they should love you just the way you are" She became a totaly different person just to fit into Danny's life.....well you know that didn't end "happily ever after"
My all time fav is The Sound of Mucic but i like the songs in Greese

I liked it. I mean, it definitely wasn't a stretch of genius or anything, but it was fun and light and good for an evening's entertainment.
I definitely wouldn't rank it amongst my top ten, (or even my top 20) but I can say I liked it.
Edit: My favorite musicals are Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, The Sound of Music, Les Miserables, Oklahoma, Evita, and Chicago
I tried to watch it once and I was bored to death. I didn't find it entertaining at all and have never understood why it is so popular. Honestly, I haven't met anyone who does like it. I don't care for the songs in it either.
Sound of Music, Phantom of the Opera, and Fiddler on the Roof are much better.
Wow I thought everybody liked Grease! Glad I'm not the only one out there.

it was long if they would have cut out about a half and hour it would have been better. i like rocky horror and the producers for musical shorter and better songs.

but my favorite musical is Moulin Rouge! I like also The fiddler on the roof!

i would love to see them do a remake though, even though it wont beat out the orignal but i jusssst LOVE movies with highschools like that.
and grease 2, i dont like watching the whole movie, but i love watching the songs, they are so catchy, and if you think its boring, your on somethinggg.
