Question: did you know about the story before you went to watch the movie? if you did, did it still leave an impression on you or were you unimpressed because you knew how the story goes?

I knew... but it still effected me when I saw the ending. Positively heart wrenching, wasn't it?
I knew the story but this movie is so good I had to see it over and over. I also have the music.

I had just gotten done playing Sweeney in a stage production. I really liked the movie. However, I knew the story too well. I never got to experience that sense of discovery that comes when you experience the story for the first time.
I was impressed with the movie just because Tim Burton's style complimented the story so well.
it's becoz i've read the movie synopsis that made me want to catch the movie
