What if you don't bring back a Blockbuster movie?!

Question: All this late-fees then "no" late-fees...What happens these days if you never bring back a movie from Blockbuster?

After 30 days the movie is officially yours. If you or whoever signed up for the accnt signed up w/ a debit or credit card then the price of the movie is charged to the card. If there isn't one it's charged to the accnt then reported to the credit bureau and then THEY not blockbuster hounds you for it. I've had ppl come in complaining about BB charges showing up on their credit reports so in a way and depending on the amnt you owe it can haunt you.

late fees then you will have too pay for it.

Well if you keep it pass 7 days you own it and they will just write it off on there taxes.

After a certain period of days, like a week after the due date you're given a fee of a few dollars or so, but after about 30 days if you still haven't returned it, they won't take it back and you have to pay for the movie. :/

If you are part of the monthly membership club where you paid the flat fee nothing will happen. But if you are not part of any special membership club the store will most likely charge you the full price of the movie and consider that you bought it. So it is not a late fee that you are paying per se....you are buying the movie because you "lost it".

At my blockbuster, if you return a movie more than 7 days past its due date you are charged a $1.25 restocking fee which is no big deal considering it is $2 per day it is late at the Family Video near me.

If you keep it 30 days past the date, they charge your credit card that you used to sign up for the account for the full sales price of the movie.

they hunt you down for the rest of your natural life until you pay the horrid fees. don't let it happen to u. my sister is on the most wanted list andshe can't go any where with out risk of being reported.
hahha. j.k. no. u just have to pay a fee.

If you don't bring it back after like 2 weeks they call you and tell you that if you don't bring it back then you will be charged the full price of the movie, so it's just like they make you buy the movie.
