Which Star Wars Movie is better? The Empire strikes back, or Return of the Jedi?!
Question: Empire Strikes Back definately.
for a few reasons:
better script
better story
less fluffy cute things
wasn't directed by Lucas (Lucas can come up with a great story thats for sure but I personally think he's a limited director)
...and its just better in every way!!!

'the empire strikes back'...heck...it's the best film in the entire series...

Empire... If only Lucas had learned to not direct his own movies.
I thought Empire was the best of the original trilogy.

I'll probably be the only one who says Return Of The Jedi but that's ok. Andy f says that Lucas is a bad director ... that's not true ... he is a HORRIBLE director. BTW, he didn't direct Jedi either. The way I look at them is Empire is pretty much a full out action movie ... Jedi makes you think a little bit and the whole Father VS Son thing and love winning out in the end ... it's classic.
However, as you say, they both rocked.

oh my god, how is that even a question? I'm huge star wars freak have been since I was 15, I'm now almost 30, and most definitely it was empire strikes back. I mean yeah the ewoks were cute and Luke kicked some ***, but everything happened in empire, after empire you couldn't wait for the next star wars.
