Question: Does anybody know where I can get this from - never seen it and been looking for many years! Any ideas?

It should be VERY easy to find a "bootleg" VHS copy. But you need to call it by its proper name. Star Wars took place a LONG time ago, so there was no Christmas. The show is called The Star Wars Holiday Special.

I've seen it, it's terrible! even my son who is a BIG Star War fan thinks it is awful.
I think he brought a dvd on the internet.
This atrocity can be purchased on line as a "bootleg". Just type it in to a web search and you should find it with no problem.

It was a TV only special, (i think) and it was soooo terrible, George Lucas had it recalled and destroyed. (so I've read somewhere) I'll see if I can find something on it.

Lucas has long hidden that in his vault, refusing to make it available to the public. Apparently, he's very embarrassed by it.
The only way to get it is to find someone who has a bootleg copy, or someone who taped it off TV when it originally aired.
People sell it on ebay.. but it is crap..truly it could ruin the star wars universe for you.. also bit torrent sites have it.
