I dont know if yours is the same but on mine it takes longer to load then play when you turn a movie on try pausing it for a couple minutes to see if it plays longer but if your on a laptop it could be the wireless internet if it's not a dvd

You need more Random Access Memory (RAM) to prevent this from happening.
