I have the movie my dad bought it and i thought it was ok. Its about a Scientist name Neville (will smith) who couldnt contain the terrible virus that was unstoppable, incurable and manmade.Somehow immune, Neville is now the last human survivor in what is left of New York City, and maybe the world. But he is not alone. He is surrounded by "the Infected"-victims of the plague who have mutated into carnivorous beings who can only exist in the dark and who will devour or infect anyone or anything in their path. For three years, Neville has spent his days scavenging for food and supplies and faithfully sending out radio messages, desperate to find any other survivors who might be out there.
I Am Legend is a really good movie. Will Smith was really good in it. I don't think it is a waste of money at all, I went to see it at the theatres and I bought the DVD. It's awesome

if youre a fan of complete action and thriller......jus buy it.its got zombies.excellent story.if youre a fan of slow and centimental films...........forget the name of the movie
my husband liked it...but he did say the ending wasn't all that great...kinda like "That's it??"
Don't waste your money look for The Last Man on Earth with vincent price its the first adaptation of Richard Matheson's novel I Am Legend and its 100 times better than the will smith version. You could rent Last man on earth the omega man and I am Legend and then make up you mind which you like better
i liked it, but im also the kind of guy thats buys movies i like, not just anything. Try watching it first then buying if you like it.
I know its a crazy way of buying movies, but its worked out well for me so far.
I think I am Legend had a great Trailer; it was good enough to make me buy a ticket to see the movie in a theatre. But, all the expectations I had due to the amazing trailer were unsatisfied bye the time I saw the entire movie.
It's not a great film at all, but it could be a great movie if they had written a better ending for it. Just Download the movie.
