Answers: i would say `tears of the sun` `schindlers list` `band of brothers`

Bambi sorry i just cant help myself but cry wen i see bambi's mum being killed

I would have to agree with Schindler's List.
Great movie.

Many, I am sure, but as of the now, the only one that come to mind is La Vita e Bella. Oh, and Au Revoir Les Enfants. They both happen to be about the Holocaust and in foreign languages, but they are beautiful films.

meet the fockers

Dancer in the Dark
Schindler's List
Hotel Rwanda

band of brothers and schindlers list

The Passion of Christ.

hotel Rwanda was a good one
at the time of 8mm with Nicholas cage i was on a chat site that people d/l pics on as well and alot of the stuff dealt with in that movie was on there so at the time that for me was VERY powerful i came out of the theater shaking

Requiem for a Dream
To me, this film makes practically every other "hard-hitting" film dim in comparison to seeing four lives destroyed due to drugs, both illegal and prescription. To be honest, I have watched this film one time and videotaped it. I have been unable to watch it again, but the scenes are so branded into my memories, which really is surprising after one viewing. I would love to get rid of some of those images.

There are others that are disturbing. For example, "Bully" could be a runnerup to "Requiem". That it is based on a true story is especially shocking. I've watched this one just once, too. That is more ugliness than I ever want to see again; it is absolutely unrelenting and distasteful.

Other powerful films are:
Truman Capote's The Glass House
The Day After (TV miniseries)
Die Brucke aka The Bridge
Grave of the Fireflies
Sophie's Choice
Playing for Time
Testament

I would say "Titanic", it was one of the best films I ever saw (especial because the two lovers don't have an happy ending) it was realistic, but it touch me the part that Rose had to let go Jack and she said "I will never let go, I promise"

'Dude, where's my car?'

The Passion of Christ
Schindler's List.

I can't really just pick one. I just saw No Country for Old Men today and that was pretty powerful.

Other ones that pop into my head right away are Crash and Elephant. Cicade de Deus is also very powerful (The City of God)

american history x

OK here is my list, boy's don't cry, monster, the accused, broke back mouton, Armageddon,Bambi,dumbo,Tarzan,10,000 BC, Apocalypso, any great teer jerker is a powerful movie to me! even ET.

There are so many, but I would say Shawshank Rendemption.

shawshank redemption
requiem for a dream
21 grams
magnolia
american history x
godzilla vs mechagodzilla

300 - That movie blew me away. With its texture and everything even if it doesnt follow history.

Pocahontas- i know its an animation, but the music is breathtaking and brings me to tears everytime i watch it.

The notebook - Classic chickflick, but amazing nonthe less,i never cry during movies & i cried like a baby during it. Gotta be my fav movie of all time
