anne miscarried a 15 week old baby boy. She was extremely desperate for a son, so she asked her brother, at the same time of the founding of the stillborn baby's body, to lie with her and get her pregnant again.
But the *****, I mean, the wife of George Boleyn (anne's brother), saw this event through her window on the other side, and told the King of this.
The next day, the King hatred for Anne boiled even more and more. George was kept in the prison as a commoner. He was not able to be tortured because he was an aristocrat, otherwise, he would be tortured to be found guilty.
The judges and the lords and masters have tried Anne to be found guilty of incest, adultery, and high treason.
She was beheaded on the same day as her brother but in different locations. One for the public to see, and the other for the court to see.
Mary, Anne's sister, was banished because she carries the bastard son of King Henry the VIII. But because Henry still admires Mary, he spared her for one day only during the trial of Anne. She remained the rest of her life, happily ever, in the country lands with her true husband, Sir William.
The Boleyn Household was rather cursed. The uncle of Anne, his legacy of sons and grandsons and great grandsons have dealt with treason and commited suicide afterwards.
Sir Thomas Boleyn, Mary, George, and Anne's father, died two years after Anne's execution from depression.
The moral of this story is to marry of someone you love, not for status, monetary or political gain. And being highly ambitious will surely get you in the wrong hole that you dug into...
I haven't seen the movie, but I read the book and I really enjoyed it. You should read it. It's by Philippa Gregory.
Sounds like a horrible depressing movie. It has been disputed historically as well. Dont think I will watch it now
