Answers: i started watching it and i didn't get 2 finish it, so what happens?

the old woman figures out that the story the old man was telling her was about themselves and their love story. The old woman has alzheimers and as soon as she remembered the past regarding themselves, she forgets it. This leads to a tantrum and confusion which also leads to a momentary separation of the elderly couple. At night, however, the old man sneaks into the woman's bedroom and lays down beside her. This leads to an ending where the two pass away, holding hands.

The answer to your question is- The gayest scene possible. (I'll prepare to get corrected now)

Basically, the story the guy is telling the old lady is the story of them. They were the two kids. And then the old lady gets up and is all like- It was us! it was us!!! And then they hold each other, and she's all- How long do we have? But it's not much because she is senile, and we find out he goes and reads her this story every night. It's so so bad.

the old people die. and everyone cries. then people ask why i didn't cry. i said they're old! i saw it coming from the beginning. it was an ok movie though.

he's reading there life story to her because she has Alzheimer's now

the two old ppl cry in the bed and then they die together holding hands

The 2 people die in bed together...After the James Garner character gets out of the hospital. Where did you stop watching it??? This is one of my favorite movies....The other one is "The Lake House" Hope that helps!!!

The Notebook is an epic love story centered around an older man who reads aloud to an older, invalid woman whom he regularly visits. From a faded notebook, the old man's words bring to life the story about a couple who is separated by World War II, and is then passionately reunited, seven years later, after they have taken different paths. Though her memory has faded, his words give her the chance to relive her turbulent youth and the unforgettable love they shared.

As teenagers, Allie (Rachel McAdams) and Noah (Ryan Gosling) begin a whirlwind courtship that soon blossoms into tender intimacy. The young couple is quickly separated by Allie's upper-class parents who insist that Noah isn't right for her. Several years pass, and, when they meet again, their passion is rekindled, forcing Allie to choose between her soul mate and class order. This beautiful tale has a particularly special meaning to an older gentleman (James Garner) who regularly reads the timeless love story to his aging companion (Gena Rowlands).

The old guy character played by James Garner was the older version of Noah played by Ryan Gosling, and the old lady that he was reading to in the nursing home was Rachel McAdams's character Allie. Well the old lady has alzheimer's and the story about the young couple that was bring read was the story on how they met. And everyday he comes in and tells her the story, and for like 2 minutes she remembers who he is, they kiss then cry. the end. you should still try to watch it because it's a good movie.

It had a horrible ending. Maybe I'm not sentimental enough but I usually don't like to see the main characters die.
