Maybe you could buy and make treats that have a scary sort of theme (eg. Halloween treats, such as links below, twisties and lolly snakes and worms as worms, mystery meat pies and pizza etc). Also, put/wrap cellophane around lamps and lights to give the room an eerie sort of colour eg. green or red, as long as the lights aren't too hot (maybe check it out first, or put the cellophane a bit away from the actual light). You could make punch like in the second link with a 'hand' in it. Once you start looking and finding things, you will probably come up with heaps of ideas. Good luck, hope you have a great time.

you should watch It. It is my favorite Stephen King movie ever. those movies are sooo long!!!!!!!!
ooo a stephen king marathon. wish i knew enough ppl into his stuff to have one of those. I do recommend watching them in order of release too btw. Though i think a great idea would be to have a king marathon of the two versions of 'the shining' back to back. laws yes... ;)

the green mile is a GREAT movie.. kinda' long though. you should just get some chips and dip and a bunch of munchy things. am i invited?? lol
try dressing up as your favorite character's. that can be both fun and interesting. i heard the mist is a waste of time. my fav stephen king movies are:
