Mostly for pschological study, we can learn from them. Why people behave and act and do what they do.
I know serial killers are a penny short of a pound and well a bit s**k, but I watch the programes about them to try and understand why they killed.
I find human behavior endlessly fascinating and the more we understand(as best as we can)the mind -set of psychopathic psychology the more armament we have to deal with people who literally have no soul.
Just because you dislike them, doesn't mean everyone dislikes them. I think they're interesting.
One time my mom was watching this thing about this cannible... I forget his name. But ever since then I've wanted to become a psychologist for cannibles/sosciopaths/people in insane asylums...I also want to be a filmmaker/writer though too so I'm not totally creepy xD.
I dont know about anyone else, but I really AM that interested in learning about people like that. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I grew up on horror movies and am just drawn to murder and killers and stuff...Does it make a doctor sick if theyre passionate about their job and watch documentaries about skin eating diseases and stuff? I THINK NOT!

I think we find it reassuring to compare ourselves favourably to the most twisted of humans in order to feel better about our own minor idiosyncrasies. Now if you'll excuse me I have a corpse in my bathtub that isn't going to dismember itself. Where did I leave my power saw?...
