I Am Legend DVD Rated "R"?!
Question: I just purchased I Am Legend on ebay and I noticed the DVD had a rated R for some strong sexual content and drug material.
Is this accurate or perhaps a misprinted label? I don't remember any sex on the theater P-13 version.
I didn't want to open the DVD case just in case I would have to ask for an exchange for the PG-13 version.

I have noticed this will several movies.I have watched movies the were rated 'R' and the case said it had nudity and there was absolutely none throughout the entire movie.
I wondered the same thing! I just watched it. The whole rating thing is wierd. No sex, no terribly foul language, the only things I could see it being rated R for would be violence and highly disturbing images. But the on-screen rating doesn't say anything about that. It's probably just misprinted.
It isnt right. I just bought it at a video store last night and it is rated pg-13 for sci-fi and voilence.

that definately can't be right, there definately wasn't any sex on the theatrical version of the movie, it has to be misprinted, they wouldn't have a reason for it to be rated "R"
Dude, you probably got a fake if its printed like that. You have to be very careful there are a lot of fakes out there that will fool the casual observer, especially on places like Ebay.
it was rated PG-13 when I went to go see it and I didn't see any kind of sex in it but they did say that there are some new things in it that wasn't shown in theaters so that could be why other then that I think they labeled it wrong
There is no sex in that movie, i just watched it a few days ago. The drug material also doesnt make sense, cause he was not abusing drugs, he was using some to try to find a cure. But the only reason why the movie might be rated R is because how the infected people looked? I dont know, but they scared the crap out of me!
