The movie is something every horror fan should watch. The nazi demons are awesome.

I saw this movie at the drive-in way back when; it shared the bill with "The Howling"! That was a good matchup.
Since then, I have seen both films many times. I was disappointed in the sequel set in Paris because they decided to go tacky and super-gross. So, I'll stick with London, which still is a shocker!
Its a pretty good movie. It was ground breaking for what it did with special effects. Still today the special effects used for the transformation sequence is still hailed as particularly great even by today's special effects standards. They even went as far as to cause the Oscars to add a new category that year, Outstanding Achievement in Makeup. Considered a classic and with a large cult following. I'm also a slightly less fan of the sequel though i do enjoy it. If you enjoyed it here is a trivia tidbit...the director john Landis also directed Thriller.
