Did you see that Richard Widmark one of the Hollywood greats has died?!

Question: Loved his acting - he was 93!

Answers: Loved his acting - he was 93!

Yes, a fine actor.

He was of small stature but he surely filled the big screen with his hard hitting characters.

Loved him in Madigan.

I can't understand the thumbs down business. Have they really nothing better to do. Thumbs up from me to equal things up. :)

xx

Just saw that on the AP wire. He had one academy award nomination.

93! He made some good westerns, How the west was won, Broken lance etc

sorry to hear that.
my favourite was "the bedford incident"with sidney poitier it just about summed up the "cold war" as it was...

Hi Plato

Morning lovely plato. I'm fine - hard at work (well not that hard)

,Seen most of his films and enjoyed most of them.
But one of the films i most remember was The Long Boats
that co starred Sydney Poiter, though historically an
incorrect film,i still enjoyed it.

Typical Troll, giving all thumbs down, get a life idiot.

yes! i've only seen a few of his films, though (Madigan, Don't Bother Knocking, etc) and i remember the episode when he guest starred on I Love Lucy. he was an excellent actor and seemed like a nice man.

Moning Plato.
I didn't know that, I didn't realise he was 93 either.

That is very sad news Plato, I remember many of the films he starred in one of my favourites was Hell and High water he truly is one of the Hollywood greats what a fantastic life he has led a great loss to the world of acting.
