I like that movie too. At the end of the movie he will be standing in a junction not knowing which way to go. Someone passing by will tell him where each road leads to, and that person will say
"If you go back the same way you came, it leads you no where, just a dead end".
Sound like just a dialogue, but hold a very deep life meaning.
Past is past, which road to the future is what matters.
