and thats all i can think of right now, but i love those
well ive never really been a big slasher film fan. but i think that my favorite was Nightmare on elm street 3.

i agree A Nightmare on Elm Street was a classic series, my favourite was the first for its originality
The Halloweens and Friday the 13th were also very good and it may not be a slasher movie but is still a classic "An American Werewolf In London"
not a big fan of the slasher movies ... closest fav would be the hannibal series ... excluding the newest one
I love horror movies and two of my favourite 'slasher movies are Freddy Vs jason from Hollywood and if you want something a bit more gritty and really messed up I suggest Switchblade Romance. Its a french slasher homage (so yes subtitles) but it is quite possibly the best slasher movie I've seen.
