Other Boleyn Girl? First 20 minutes?!
Question: So I'm going to the theaters tomorrow to watch to movies back to back (yes I'm a junkie). The first movie is Penelope and I want to see The Other Boleyn Girl second. But I'll miss the first 30 minutes, with the movie previews and all, will only be 20 minutes. Am I missing a lot? Is it worth it?

Well I didnt mind this movie at all! The first 20 mins set up the story of two sisters Mary Boleyn (played by Scarlett) and the older of the two, Anne Boleyn (played by Natalie). Both sisters are devoted to each other, witty, charming and attractive. Both consider marriage proposals before an opportunity arises when it becoes known that King Henry VIII seems to be looking for a girl to have, in addition to his wife. Suddenly, it gets a little competitive in the Boleyn household.....

The movie drags on a bit anyway, but just make sure you read up the start of the plot on imdb or something first. Apart from it's gorgeous costumes the Other Boleyn Girl wasn't my favourite movie. Fancy sets were the best thing -- they even turned Scarlet Johnasson into a boring, simple character.
If you haven't seen them I reccomend 10,000 BC (over-dramatic, over the top special effects, yet still touching), or Hey Hey It's Esther Blueburger. Both are way better movies.
