Question: well ive seen the movie twice but i dont get what happens towards the end, i remember she tells the guy that theres a story that if you jump down the waterfall and live, that it was meant to be and you will live a better life, but if you dont make it you just die. Or something like that, and then she jumps down, but i dont get it if she committed suicide, or she still lived. Do you know what happened and how it goes with the story? im not sure

It is an open ending, you the viewer are supposed to make the decision on your own as to what happened to the girl. You see this alot in foreign films, when it comes to American films studio executives usually want a clearly defined ending. You could also try listening to the commentary, the director may tell you his opinion.
