In Vantage Point, the people did not look like Spaniards, they looked like Mexic!

Question: I mean Seriously.

Although the main characters looked like Spaniards, the terrorists looked like Arabs (which I'm assuming they were) .

So is it a fact that Hollywood couldn't even hire European people.

I wonder if they really did film in Spain or just in Mexico.

Well, you have a good point and a good eye. According to the Los Angeles Times the film was shot in New Mexico."That’s right, the film was actually shot in Mexico City. They built it in and around an abandoned four-story mall in the southern part of the city. In the article “Vantage Point: Choosing Spain, Shooting in Mexico,” we find out that it took more than 300 construction workers 10 weeks to build the set.So, if upon leaving the movie theater you wanted to jet off to Salamanca like I did, go ahead. Just know that you might want to book your return ticket through Mexico City."
