"No Country for Old Men" - Horrible Movie!!!?!
Question: Anyone else hate this movie and maybe I am unrealistic but wouldn't have minded a better ending. Was it supposed to mean that an old Cop just can't take some of the inane violence of this day and age like you just don't know what to expect next. The film ended when there was no one left in the world to kill it seemed to me. I was hoping that trailer-living ex Viet veteran would have saved the day and escaped with his partner to Mexico or somewhere and lived a wonderful life. Anyone else disappointed in this movie. And to make matters worse the psychopath sort of won out.

its an unusual film and the ending was a bit weird but hey it was something different a little annoying but different...
i can't say I'm disappointed but I thing that the psycho should have died in the end with the car accident

What makes a movie contemptible is when it has a predictable plot and no originality. That certainly wasn't the case with No Country For Old Men. A good movie is supposed to add something new to your life, make you think, not just mindlessly entertain you. When you get older you will understand that better.
i agree! i tried watching it on the plane but failed because it bored me so much. i even watched Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium for the 2nd time intsead of this

I was very disappointed. It started out good, but then it got boring and dumb. Many people don't agree. We may be the only 2 people that didn't like this movie. I expected more from this movie.
100% agreed. My family and I couldn't figure out why it was so critically acclaimed. :(

it was a crappy movie...but really ol folks seem to like it...maybe they wanna make a sequel-no movie for young men
