no, if anything I stay home to wait for dvd's now. Ticket prices are ridiculous & most of the movies they are making now are really just rentals waiting to happen. The movies are not even worth my $10.
Only if it is a good action movie I want to see on a big screen. Other wise DVD at home:)
I go the movies at least two times during the weekend, some times three times...I like to see the movies on the big screen with real THX surround sound with no commercials the way they were meant to be seen...and the ones I liked lot I rent the DVD later or wait for it to come on tv...

My not going has more to do with the invention of the cellphone and lack of etiquette than the existence of DVDs.
Yes, because watching it at a theater gives you a much different experience than watching it at home. I also hate to wait for the DVD to come out. If it's a really good movie, I make sure I watch it.
I still go to the Movies a lot
Not nearly as much. I still go to the $1.50 theatre when I want to see a movie on the big screen. I wait till they hit that theatre cuz I can't stand the prices and the concessions are rediculously priced! I wish they would bring back the drive-in movies. WHO ever let that go??
definately attend the theatre. the cinemas are not as expensive as people make out.. its cheaper than going out to dinner or other outings. Fair enough the prices have gone up yes but cinemas have to stay in business now that dvds can be obtained or worse downloaded these days.

Absolutely. I love the feel of a theater. That is the real movie lover's place for experiencing a movie!! I go at very LEAST three or four times a month.

No! I usually wait and buy the movie used in a movie rental store. Then, you pay half the price and you own the movie. I haven't seen a movie in a long time that wasn't too good I couldn't wait a couple of months to see it.
I rarely go see any movie unless it's something I really want to see on the big screen. I usually end up spending around $15 (ticket & goodies) to see a movie, but by waiting, I can pick up a used copy of the movie from Blockbuster or Hollywood Video stores for about $8-$10 and have something to show for my money. It also alllows me to watch the movie at my own pace and if I really like it, add to to my collection which runs about 400 movies in vhs/dvd format.

yes. me and my girl usually go see a movie at least once a week. then i end up buying the dvd. we love movies.
I have only been to a movie theater twice since 1985, way before DVDs and before I had a VCR by several years.
