He is definitely top, it's like you want to like him but he's so dangerous...kind of like those women think of mr. helter skelter.
Alex Delarge and Annie Wilkes are my favorites beside him.
I have never thought about ranking my favorite movie villains, but I did enjoy Chigurh's character for not only his resourceful, stone-faced, unstoppable nature, but also for the way karma acts on him. He is a force of nature, and he is taken down most effectively by the random forces of nature he comes into contact with. I also like his name, it being possible to pronounce it "chigger" or "sugar," thus adding even more ambiguity to his identity. He is a fascinating one, and given time to organize my thoughts, I'm sure he'd be right up there on the list of villains.
1) Anton Chigurgh - NCFOM
2) Benny - City of God
3) Darth Vader
4) Norman Stansfield - Leon: The Professional
5) Brick Top - Snatch
Anton is definitely the best (or worst I guess you could say). Whenever he was on the screen I barely breathed just because you never knew what to expect from him, except that someone was gonna die... and soon.
Myt faves are:
1. Keyser Soze
2. Wicked Witch of the West
3. Anton Chigurgh
4. Nurse Ratched (one flew over the cuckoos nest)
5. The Godfather
Honorable mention:
Hannibal Lecter, Frankenstein (original version), Jaws the shark.
