It would be about how the first 3 movies were a dream imposed on Yoda and Obi by the Sith. Then it would explain the real downfall of the Jedi (in a less lame way).

there were 9 books
so you would have to go from there

Star Wars, Going to Planet Jupiter

it would be about star.........wars mayby?

Princess Leia & Han Solo

They get married, have twins & the whole thing starts over again!!!

Star Wars Episode VII would focus on Luke rebuilding the Jedi Order. In Episode VII, we would find that Mace Windu survived his fall from Palpatine's window in Episode III. We would also find that Boba Fett survived his fall into the Sarlaac Pit in Episode VI. Fett would seek revenge on Windu for killing his father. Also, Luke and Leia (a lightsaber wielding Jedi Master) would do battle on a distant planet called Minnetola against a group of Rogue Dark Jedi who do not want to see the Jedi Order return to its former state of glory. Luke and Leia, with the help of Han, Chewbacca, and Lando, would successfully defeat the Dark Jedi and destroy their secret headquarters, escaping in the trusty Millennium Falcon.

Ironically it's an election year there as well, and the rebel alliance has to decide which kind of government can rule wisely. Will it be an elected body like the previous Senate? Most likely, but there has to be some checks and balances to be made this time, so they may settle on a bicameral government (since this all happened a long time ago, maybe that's where we get the idea from). But there will be no supreme executive power like before, Palpatine ruined that, much to Luke's dismay. Some are leaning to socialism, others to free-trade, some a blending of the two,and still others for a loose confederation of independent states, kind of like the ancient Greeks, but there will be a compromise made. The whole film will have a C-Span feel, right down to the call-ins from the masses.

Or the whole galaxy gets sucked into an enormous Black Hole at its center.

Jeez Jedi_Dud, she's saying to have FUN with this, you don't need to call everyone idiots. I didn't know we'd have Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons throw in his two-cents.

If you notice, all six episodes are about Darth Vader. Since he died, I think the story has reached its conclusion.

This doesnt rule out spin off story lines, but I don't think it should be called Star Wars..or at least not be called part seven.

The next movie, would need to be the rebuilding of the Jedi and perhaps some quest to retrieve lost lore, power, training etc. You could do a "sabre" in the stone kinda thing.

It would be a documentary on how Lucas "botched" the series (that would be sweet, LOL).

But seriously, it would either be about the exploits of Darth Vader (between episodes 3 and 4) or Luke (after episode 6).

Let's see...
Luke travels with Han and Leia
Han gets a Han Jr., yep.
They meet the most powerful man in the universe: OPRAH!!!

LOL

How can we have any "fun" with this when you have people answering who don't know what the hell they are talking about and others who are just idiots.

Here we go again with the "9 books" thing. First off the SW (Star Wars) movies were NOT made from books ... the books were written about the movies. Yeah, it's kind of backwards but talk to Lucas about it.

When he first came up with the concept of SW it was a 12 part story. He thought could do it like the old Flash Gordon series but quickly realized it wouldn't work that way. He then condensed it into a 9 part story. Some will say that he had it all written down and ready to go but he was waiting for the FX to catch up with him. That theory is major BS. Yes, he had a vague outline of the story but that is all it was ... an outline and one that changed radically over the years. Each trilogy had a "purpose" ... the first was to be about the rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker ... the second was to be about the rise of Luke Skywalker and the redemption of Anakin Skywalker ... the third was to be about the "other Skywalker" that Yoda spoke of in ep V. A little know fact is that up until Lucas was writing the duel between Luke and Vader in ep VI, Leia was NOT the other Skywalker. Lucas was stumped on a reason for Luke to attack his father in a dark side fueled rage. He solved this problem by making Leia the "other Skywalker" and having Vader threaten her. This one change had two major effects ... 1) it caused the fans to think eewwww when they thought of the Lip locks between brother and sister ... 2) It eliminated the third trilogy ... it's as simple as that.

Now to the question ... if I were to make ep 7 - 9 what would they be about. The story would have to be taken far enough into the future that the big 3 of Han, Luke, & Leia had passed away and their children were taking on the 'bad guys' ... from there you could take the story anywhere you wanted to. One problem might be that there were only Skywalker children to carry on because I don't think any of Han & Leia's children will be left alive after the current book series ends but, as of now, Luke does have a son. In all of the stories beyond the death of the big 3 there is always a Skywalker involved but no Solos. Dark Horse comics has taken the story about 130 years past the events of ep IV and in this story the Galactic Alliance has fallen to the forces of the New Empire. This version of the Empire is nothing like the first one. The new trilogy could be about the battles that caused this to happen. Not much of an idea but it could work.
