Wow, I can't believe there are people that like that movie. I love it, but no one I know does. I haven't heard anything about a sequel.

I loved that movie as a kid too, but i don't think there has been any talks for a sequel.
Doubt it,that was years ago.Had to buy it on dvd though.

omg, you are the first person in YEARS that ive heard talk about drop dead fred....i got that movie a few years back and my bf refused to watch it with me..lol. I dont think there will be a second, but the first one was a scream...one of my childhood favorites!..good question!
Wasn't it made like 20 years ago?, and Rik Mayall said he wouldn't do another cos the american director wouldn't let him be anarkic enough (like his bottom/young ones charecters at the time)
Probably not, unless somebody in the future decides to do a remake or a spin off from it.

I can't find anything about a 2nd movie being made, but the original was great. I have it on Video and never get tired of watching it..

Doubt it, the only possible sequel is from the little kids (at the ending they show another kid with drop dead fred) point of view.
It's unlikely since a) Rik Mayall has aged and b) had a serious accident, since the original was filmed.

I dont think there will be another one made. I hope they dont make another one anyway, because nothing could live up to the original. I first saw it when I was about 8 and Ive loved it ever since. It makes me laugh no matter what mood Im in
