i LOVE both.
Vol 1 for the artistic content.
Vol 2 for the story line.
Together they make fantastic viewing. They complement each other totally.
vol 1, it was all new and good fun to watch!! Not that I'm barbaric and love all that blood and stuff!!!
if i had to choose between them i guess i'd go with the second one. but i don't think either of them are among tarantino's best work.

I love both movies, but vol 2 for me was sort of a disappointment after watching vol 1, which was ace.
I guess vol 2 tied things up and explained a lot of unanswered questions, but I was expecting more action and it just wasn't as cool as vol 1 overall.
