Question about the symbolisim of a scene in the movie Constantine?!

Question: Hi there, i was watching some movies and i happened to saw Constantine, the one starring Keanu Reeves as a exorcist.

Early in the show he used a mirror to try to capture the demon in the possessed girl and as the residents held a giant mirror over the bed, Constantine asked them to close their eyes and never look no matter what.
Then, that fat asian took a peek and his hair and beard turned white, he fell back and kept scratching himself

Question here is..why did his hair turn white? and why did he keep scratching himself?
Any clue?

Just curious~ :P

He probably was so scared that his hair turned white & as far as scratching it's rumoured that when a demon looks you in the eyes he kills you from the inside by giving you an itchy allergic reaction. LOL

Sodom and Gomorah

Quite a few movies contain a number of symbols hidden, and perhaps most movies that relate the bible and christianity hold the most. In addition to this, several movies (such as "In the name of the Rose" starring Sean Connery) are based on novels (fiction or not) that contain a large number of symbols associated with secret societies (Masonic Order).

The book where the above movie was based, was written by a prolific writer and phylosofer Umberto Eco (Italian), whose writings depict on this book and others (The Pendulum), several encryptions and symbols.

As to the movie Constantine, I have seen it also but frankly speaking, there is too much holywood mumbo-jumbo there, totally ridiculous and fictional. Nothing against the acting, but so is the power of hollywood behind it. Unless you are a fan of black magic, or related, I see no worthy symbolism there.
