Question: why did the gas station dude kill himself?
at the begining he was yelling something about judy or julie which turned out to be the good lil girl in the red sweatshirt and then he said something like "i just cna't do this anymore" and then later that day he shot himself in the bathroom.

He couldn't live with what he was doing. Think about it- if it hadn't been for him, there would have been so many more people that wouldn't have fell victom to the mutants, including the film's main characters. He was basically being used by the mutants as a pawn to bring in more victoms.

yea of course! he was helping the cannibals(those evil people things) get people to eat and he killed hisself b/c he felt like he couldnt do it any more
Because the "mutant people" were coming for him and he figured it was the logical way out. That re-make sucked, you should watch the original movie.
