Into the wild Movie?!

Question: In the movie into the wild, it is rated R for language and some nudity. What kind of nudity? What do you see exactly?
Thanks.

There really is not much nudity... and what there is of it, is not erotic or sexual in nature.

Pretty much, as stated in the previous post, there is a woman who removes her top as she and her companion lounge by the edge of a river. Both are european... and as nudity is a much more accepted occurance in Europe when compared to American perspective... this is seen as nothing more than her doing what she has most likely grown up around in her native society. However... this scene does go on for a decent amount of time... but it is really just the characters sitting around talking. One just happens to not have a top on.

The other two scenes I recall... are when the main character floats down on a raft w/o clothes on. The camera angle is from a distance directly above river as the raft floats in and out of the scene. There is a bit of full frontal here... but, honestly, it is quick and passes by w/o much notice, and the camera is at a distance.... Again... this scene is not sexual and not meant to focus on the nudity... rather, it conveyed a an aura of innocence, of rebirth... experiencing life and nature in a completely unadulterated state.

The last scene I recall... is very, very brief and towards the end of the movie. The main character is being driven in a truck and they pass by a nudist camp. The shot is from the perspective of the character looking out the truck window... and is from a distance away... nothing shocking.

While the R rating does state nudity... it is not done in a profane or offensive manner... and while some movies toss in nudity just to have it, I felt the use of nudity in this film conveyed messages rather integral to the story line and development of the character's experience.

Btw... this was a fantastic film!

im not sure why exectly its rated R, i saw it and its rlly not that bad, but there is some nudity in it, but its not that bad.

I only saw up to the first half of the movie but there is a woman who removes her top on the side of a river. She's not trying to be erotic, it's just the way her character is. Very carefree.

you see part of a nudist camp and then there's this girl walking around for like 5 minutes with no top on.
