'North by Northwest' with Cary Grant? he gets chased by a crop spraying plane whilst in a grey suit and falls over several times. It could also be 'Chinatown'.
You dont mean Dr Zhivago do you? Omar Sharif has a heart attack in the street and stumbles and eventually dies.

it would help if you could say perhaps its genre or how old it looked. however there are several i could rule out.

The Apartment (1960) is impossible, since it's in black & white.
Apocalypse Now (1979) doesn't have anyone in a gray suit
Chinatown (1974) is also impossible, there are no male primary character who dies in the movie
Touch Of Evil (1958) is in B&W, count that one out too.

The King Of Comedy (1983), no one dies in the movie.

i would rule out: apocalypse now, city of god, chinatown, 2001, donnie darko, los in translation, back to the future, shawshank, boyz n the hood, erin brokovich, the breakfast club, pink flamingos, princess mononoke, cabaret, ... theres a lot of things to rule out... sorry, cant help you here..
