Why the rash of Donnie Darko Questions all of a sudden???!
Question: Generally, groups of questions about a film occur because of recent airings. Or, often, someone is in the middle of watching a movie and decides to throw a question into Y!A. The other night, while watching "Planet of the Apes" (original, of course), I no sooner saw the planting of the flag when a question about~yes~the planting of the flag showed up! I answered it~accurately I hope.
I had a question inspired by a film I was watching, so I imagine that this happens a lot.

Myst Moon nailed it... That's exactly why... I remember seeing Donnie Darko on TV a few days ago.
Because once someone asks about this movie Donnie Darko *which is the best movie* A Lot of people are still confused about it so they remember a question & ask. I doubt that they were showing it on basic cable so I wouldn't know if it just aired.
