SLIPSTREAM: Can anyone explain this movie to me? I tried watching it and it made!

Question: I rented it because I admire Sir Anthony Hopkins but I just don't get it.

Answers: I rented it because I admire Sir Anthony Hopkins but I just don't get it.

Aging screenwriter Felix Bonhoeffer has lived his life in two states of existence: in reality and his own interior world. While working on a murder mystery script, and unaware that his brain is on the verge of implosion, Felix is baffled when his characters start to appear in his life, and vice versa.

ok, its supposed to be about the scientist (stewart) who him and his fellow counterparts build a hand held time machine that uses cell phone towers to bring you back 10 minutes through time, and anyone holding on to the device or the person holding the device will remember it. Then stewart decides to go to the bank to use it to steal money by witdrawing money, going back, withdrawing more, and so on. The FBI trail him, then robbers rob the place, take the thingy, which takes them on a wildgoose chase which winds them up on a crashing plane after a gunfight breaks loose. (Best part in whole movie, two thumbs up!) Stewart says "I can go past the 10 minute window, I have a line of sight of all cell towers!" then, ya da ya da ya, they stop the plane from crashing and go back to b4 the robbers rob the place. They decide not to rob the place, he decides not to steal money, and the FBI go. The end. Good movie though, eh?

Existentially speaking, I don't know either
